I am a photographer specialising in night-time, long exposure photography, specifically the art of light painting.
Light painting is a fascinating form of photography through which you can create an image by shining light sources (e.g. a torch) at your camera during a long exposure. The light is captured by the camera and imprinted onto the image. Different light sources create different colours and textures, allowing you to 'paint' an image with the light. There is something almost magical in seeing an image appear by swinging lights around in the darkness! The only limitation is your imagination.
All images on this site are created by a mad man (me) swinging lights around in the dark! What you see comes straight out of the camera (SOOC) with very little post production and no image manipulation. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed making them!
